Get Out and Explore

But Make it Inward Too

A destination in the hustle & bustle meant for you to stay and reflect? For as long as you’d like? Sounds like a mirage in the desert yet if you’re in the know, it’s right in the neighborhood. A site-specific exhibition, Plexus, by Camille Norment, looks on the surface like a battered vessel, an homage to the architecture of the space.

Much more than historical significance, though, the work is an experiential chamber meant to make us reflect on the constant feedback in our lives. You’re invited to immerse yourself in the composition, to lay down and hear the reverberations of sounds across the beams, from floor to wall to ceiling. Take a minute or an hour to explore and recline and feel like you’ve left the city, even if just for moment. Brought to you by Chelsea Gallery Tours x Arlo Hotels, book an insider tour to see the exhibit and learn even more.

Where: Dia Chelsea, 537 W 22nd Street, New York, NY 10011
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 12p – 6p
